Brenda Wahler is a fourth-generation Montanan who wears multiple hats: she is an attorney in her day job as well as an independent historian, freelance writer and lifelong horsewoman. Studying cantankerous characters from conmen to countesses, Wahler digs into the deeper stories behind the myths of the American West.
